Jefferson is beginning the process of developing a Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation and Park Plan (CORP) to guide its future parks and recreation planning efforts from 2025 to 2029. This plan aims to outline long-term and short-term strategies for park development, guiding future decisions and resources toward a clear vision. The CORP will cover the development and revitalization of parks, facilities, open spaces, and the entire recreation system. To shape this vision, the plan will include a needs assessment, community visioning, priority setting, level of service standards, and an implementation roadmap. Public involvement will be essential throughout the planning and implementation phases. Visit this website for updates and opportunities to participate as the CORP planning progresses.
